Project at a glance
The challenge
Omega started as AMPLY Power’s early charging tool. As the company grew in EV infrastructure management, it needed to become a scalable, intuitive platform that fleet operators could rely on every day.
My role
Multimedia Designer, then Visual Designer · 2021–2026. Working with my manager, the Product Designer, and our front-end developers, I turned product ideas, user research and stakeholder feedback into wireframes, interactive prototypes and polished interfaces.
Team
A core team of 2 designers plus front-end developers, informed by 38+ collaborators across engineering, product, sales, marketing and customer support.
Results
- ~40% more efficient design-to-development handoff
- Platinum award for the Omega UK launch
- 50+ customers in the US and UK
How we worked
- ListenFeedback from sales, customer support, engineering, product and customers, plus research on Hertz’s EV operations journey.
- WireframeTurn findings and requirements into structure and flows.
- PrototypeInteractive prototypes in Figma to review with stakeholders.
- DesignPolished UI built on the shared design system.
- Review the buildUI quality checks on implemented screens: accuracy, layout and responsive behavior.

What is Omega?
Think of it as a command center for electric vehicle charging.
Omega is a web platform that helps businesses see what's happening across their EV charging stations, manage energy use, and keep electric fleets moving — all from one place.
Meet Omega.
Meet Omega. Managing electric vehicle fleets is more than just plugging in and charging. It requires visibility, control, and real-time information. That's where Omega comes in. A powerful, centralized platform designed to monitor charging stations, manage energy consumption, and keep electric fleets moving. Whether managing one location or an entire network, Omega brings everything together in one place. Omega. Smarter charging. Better operations.
Designing the command center behind enterprise EV charging.
From early AMPLY Power concepts to bp pulse’s enterprise platform, I helped shape how fleet operators monitor chargers, manage vehicles, and make operational decisions.
Across five years and multiple releases, I designed dashboards, fleet and site experiences, energy and infrastructure visualizations, operational workflows, and reusable UI components. I collaborated with product, engineering, and operations teams to turn complex requirements into interfaces that could serve different customers and facilities.
Omega supported more than 50 customers in the United States and United Kingdom, including Meta, Genentech, Producers Dairy, Sysco, Hertz, Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN), and Disney.

Omega is a proprietary platform built at AMPLY Power and bp pulse. To respect the confidentiality of the company and its customers, the process, research and product screens are password protected.
